LIFE GROUPS

Attention all FCC Members-Life Groups Begin!  On Wednesdays beginning September 1, for twelve weeks, we will be starting up our “Life Group” sessions. The meetings will run from 6pm to 8pm.During this time, we will share in food and fellowship and continue to travel on our faith journey to become closer to Christ as individuals and as a church family. Youth group age and up are welcome.  Bring your friends! Childcare and dinner will be provided. Please join us on this journey!

SUNDAY SCHOOL BEGINS SEPTEMBER 12

DON”T FORGET-Sunday school returns to 9:15 am on September 12^th. Tammy Heimer and Denise Hudson will be teaching 3 year olds-2^nd grade. Teresa Gentry will be teaching 3-5^th grade. Gary and Donna Brown are pursuing a 6^th-8^th grade class; contact them at 221-4629, if you are interested.  

JYF returns to Sundays 1:00-3:00 pm on September 19^th.   -Mariah

CHURCH PICNIC

Join us for a church picnic Sunday, September 12th at Tom & Anita Martin’s house (if rain, in the Fellowship Hall).   You only need to bring a covered dish to share and your lawn chair, fishing pole, and lawn games.  We will eat around 12:30 pm.

Directions: Take Hwy 61 south from Hannibal to Hwy 19 in New London. Take 19 west four miles to Hwy F. Go south on F to Buffalo Lane. Turn left on Buffalo and travel down the gravel road about two miles to the Martins. The address is 55105 Buffalo Lane.

We express our sympathy to the Viorel family upon the death of Lee Viorel on August 28, 2010.

Dear Church Family,

Thank you again for your prayers and to Phyllis Edwards  & Rev. GIRLS NIGHT OUT

Girls Night Out will be held at Linda & Steve Barker’s on Sept. 9 beginning around 5:30 p.m. or so.  Please bring a covered dish.  If it’s not too hot, we will sit outside and enjoy casual conversation or watch a movie indoors.
